DIRECTORS / MARCELO BURGOS

Marcelo is Argentinian but has lived In Madrid since 1998. His first job, after finishing Art studies at the age of18, was as an illustrator for Ogilvy Buenos Aires.He subsequently worked in many of the most prestigious advertising agencies in Argentina and Spain, first as Art Director and later as Creative Director: Ogilvy, Y&R Buenos Aires, BOOP Madrid, Vega Olmos Ponce and Remo, in Spain. As a creative, he won more than70 advertising awards Including Cannes, Cho, Andy, NY Festivals... Six years ago he decided on a change, becoming Director I Partner at Garlic.tv.
Within a few short months the prestigious magazine Shots had included him in its New Directors showcase with an entirely self-drawn and animated Music Video.

He is now considered one of the most talented directors in Spain, receiving scripts daily from the best agencies and clients. He has won awards every year since he started directing, Including Silver and Bronze Cannes Lions In 2008 and 2009 respectively.

He complements his directing career with sculpture and printmaking.
